A webinar on “OPPORTUNITIES IN PUBLIC SECTOR” was organised by PERI EDUCATIONon 29.05.2021.It was organised exclusively for all the students and faculty members of PERI EDUCATION.Mr. B. Bala Senthil Kumar was the resource person of the day. The webinar was conducted through Google Meet App, an online platform.

PERI EDUCATION organised the webinar to exposethe students to know about the wide range of job opportunities in Public Sector. A total of 200 students of PERI EDUCATION registered and 100 participants have joined the webinar.

Mr. Bala Senthil Kumar, a successful person in his career, became an emerging leader and determinant entrepreneur .He guided more than 8000 students through several training programs.

Ensuing the welcome address by Ms.M.G.Sujithra, HOD of Language Department, the session started at 10.30 AM. The entire session was totally an interactive session. He told how many job opportunities are there in Indian Civil Services, Bank and Insurance, and salary for the jobs, and how to prepare for the exams like UPSC and IBPS. He also thought some important life skills and how to be successful in the career. The session was more informative and gained more knowledge about job opportunities in India and how to prepare themselves for the exams.

Feedback form was collected from the participants using Surveyheart feedback forms. Around 80 feedback forms were submitted from which it was observed that the students found the webinar more effective and informative. And, it was requested by the students to conduct more programslike this.

Further he also narrated his own life experiences in handling conflicts.

Students of Peri College of Arts and Science and other college students had actively listened and interacted with the speaker, and also came up with the brainstorming solutions to the problems posted by the expert.

The webinar was concluded with vote of thanks by Mrs. Aruna J, Assistant Professor, Department of Psychology, Peri College of Arts and Science. Heartfelt thanks extended to the Chairman, Mr. Saravanan Periyasamy and COO, Mr. Sasi Veerarajan, and the Principal, Dr. A. Gunasekaran, Vice Principal, Dr. V. Simson Rajkumar and Head of the Department, Dr. P. Nirmala. Special thanks conveyed to the guest of honor, Mr. S. Yuvaraj who accepted to deliver the lecture and graced the event. She also thanked her faculties and the administrative staffs for the grand success of the event. Feedback link was sent to the participants and recorded.

The session ended at 11.30 AM with a formal vote of thanks by Ms.Abirami Swaminathan, B.Sc. Psychology, First Year , she expressed her gratitude to the resource person Mr. B. Bala Senthil Kumar, the management and the participants. At the outset, the programme fulfilled the purpose of what it was intended.
