About PERI

PERI College of Arts and Science is established by the PAPPATHI AMMAAL Educational Trust with the objective of providing quality technical education. The College is built at Mannivakkam, Chennai in a sprawling area replete with A/C classrooms, well equipped labs, A/C transport facility, modern laboratories, cafeteria and a library with latest technology.

PERI College of Arts and Science offers B.Com General, B.Com Accounting & Finance, B.Sc Chemistry, B.Sc Computer Science, B.Sc Mathematics, B.Sc Microbiology, B.Sc Psychology, B.C.A Computer Applications, B.A Criminology & Police Administration, B.B.A. Business Administration and is affiliated to University of Madras.

GENESIS

The PERI PAPPATHI AMMAAL Educational Trust was founded in 2018. The vision of the trust is to provide a world class nodal centre of education where academics, communication, comprehension, visualization, practical application and leadership skills are imparted through encouraging research, training and development in technical and non-technical areas.

PERI College of Arts and Science is the brainchild of Mr. Saravanan Periasamy, the founding President & CEO of PERI Software Solutions Inc., a leading multinational IT Consulting and Services Company based in USA and the Chairman of the PAPPATHI AMMAAL Educational Trust. He is the source of inspiration and the pathfinder for this institution.

MANAGEMENT/GOVERNING COUNCIL

The PAPPATHI AMMAAL Educational Trust is administered by a governing council which comprises of representatives of the PAPPATHI AMMAAL Educational Trust, representatives of the University of Madras, Principal, two senior faculties and eminent scholars and industrialists. The Governing Council is responsible for planning and monitoring all academic and administrative activities of PERI College of Arts and Science. The day-to-day management is conducted by an academic and administrative set up helmed by Mr. Saravanan Periasamy.


Mr.Saravanan Periasamy has over 22 years of experience in building and managing business in the fields of Tecnology, Consulting, Energy Management and Education. He has an engineering degree in Electrical & Electronics from India and a Master Degree in Computer Science from the United States. He is primary responsible for providing direction and guidance to PERI

PERI College of Arts and Science have a vision to provide an internationally recognized place in the pure and applied areas of arts & science courses of higher learning. PERI College of Arts and Science will be a research hub for academicians, industrialists and researchers from across the world. The ultimate aim is to inculcate the necessary knowledge on the students to make them useful citizen of our country.
