B.Sc Mathematics

The department offers B.Sc. Mathematics as a three year degree programme and it aims to train people, who are oriented towards research and teaching. The programme intends at imparting quality education in mathematics and retains basic knowledge in the core branches of mathematics. The programme offers a plethora of opportunities to excel in interdisciplinary fields such as Mathematical statistics, Bio statistics, Bio mathematics, Bioinformatics, Environmental studies and scientific visualization. As to open a way to co-curricular domain, the department conducts a series of seminars and workshops on relevant areas of mathematics. The programme paves the way for a number of employment opportunities in future. The well established Lab has the latest software with technology support.

The Department has very good faculty members who are exponent in application side of the computer science area.

Eligibility: Applicants who have cleared higher secondary examination with computer science, mathematics/Business Mathematics are eligible.
