PERI College of Pharmacy cordially organized and conducted a Rally on September 26, 2023 on the occasion of World Pharmacist Day(25 September 2023). It was organized by Dr. P.Valentina, Principal, PERI College of Pharmacy and co-ordinated by Mrs.M.Mubeen, Assistant Professor, PERI College of Pharmacy. Dr. Palson Kennedy, Principal, PERI Institute of Technology, Dr. A. R. Bharathi, Principal, PERI College of Nursing and Dr. P.Valentina inaugurated the rally

The rally started from PERI Knowledge Park to Mannivakkam Kulam bus stand. Around 100 students of I year B.Pharmacy took part in the rally. Students started spreading their enthusiasm right from 10 a.m to 11 a.m. All faculty members of PERI College of Pharmacy have given their presence to grace this inauguration. Students conveyed the message by holding banners and placards. Refreshments were given to the participants.

Students stressed that pharmacists hold the capacity to create an equitable and efficient healthcare system. The way the students interacted with individuals demonstrated their enthusiasm and sense of belonging to society. They used their knowledge and abilities appropriately.
The awareness rally provided students with an excellent opportunity and a superb learning experience. People from the area and beyond came forward to inquire about the role that pharmacists play in enhancing the healthcare system.
Around 11 a.m., the students arrived back to PERI Knowledge Park. Dr. P. Valentina, Principal, PERI College of Pharmacy, delivered an uplifting message to close out this rally. She urged the youngsters to have big dreams and to go after them in the right way. She expressed gratitude to all the faculty members and students who participated and helped out.
