B.Sc. Nursing Programme

B.Sc. Nursing is an under-graduate four-year degree programme, which prepares professional and skilled nursing graduates qualified to practice nursing and midwifery in public/government or private healthcare units in Indian and international scenario. PERI College of Nursing offers Bachelor of Science in Nursing as a professional programme and discipline requires knowledge derived from sciences (physical, biological and behavioral), humanities and human psychology. Nursing science incorporates knowledge acquisition related to clinical competence, patient health and illness, disease management, care critical thinking, communication, human and professional values for patient care.

Eligibility

Educational Criteria

  • Candidate who have passed the qualifying 12th Standard examination (10+2) with Biology course and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together and passed in English individually. In respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC the marks obtained in 3 core subjects shall be 40% instead of 45% for General category candidates.
  • English is a compulsory subject in 10+2 for being eligible for admission to B.Sc. Nursing.

Age Criteria

The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought. The maximum age limit for admission shall be 35 years.
