DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING TECHNICAL SEMINAR ON “POWER SYSTEM SIMULATION LAB”

A Technical Seminar on "POWER SYSTEM SIMULATION LAB" was conducted by EEE department in association with Retech Solutions Pvt Ltd .Chennai, on 10 th July 2017. This workshop was attended by 85 students from Third year and Final year of EEE department.

Retech Solutions Pvt Ltd is a Manufacturer of electrical engineering project service , Embedded projects, computer science engineering and mechanical engineering project services.

In this technical seminar, the students came to know about power system analysis through digital simulation. They analyzed Computation of Parameters and Modeling of Transmission Lines , Formation of Bus Admittance and Impedance Matrices, Load Flow , Fault Analysis ,Transient Stability Analysis and Economic Dispatch in Power System.

After this theory session, it was followed by a hands-on session where simulation and programs were made using the output of the programs was observed. Overall, this technical seminar was knowledgeable and interactive for our students.
