INDUSTRIAL VISIT TO ISRO

An Industrial visit to ISRO at SHAR SRIHARIKOTA, Andhra Pradesh was organized for III rd year Electronics & Communication Engineering Department on Friday,2nd March 2018 .73 students and 5 faculties visited to ISRO .

Satish Dhawan Space centre (SDSC) SHAR, SRIHARIKOTA, the spaceport of India is responsible for providing launch base infrastructure for the Indian space program.

We reached the ISRO around 9.30AM and visited space museum .After completing all security procedures In-charge took us to the both launch pads.

We visited the launch pad-I where the GSLV is assembled and launched in the same zone we got to know that what type of fuels are used in PSLV and GSLV.

Then we moved on to the launch pad-II where the assembly is carried out in vehicle assembly building and launching is done at the launch pad -II currently scientists were working on the reusable launch vehicle.

Finally we visited the Mission Control Centre (MCC) where they presented the video based on the rocket launching.

The Industrial visit came to an end by 3.00 PM and we left the premises around 4.00PM
