Inauguration Day for 1^st years

Chennai, August 6 - PERI Institute of Technology (PERI IT) conducted Inauguration Day for the first years. The event started at 10.00 am with the traditional தமிழ்த்தாய் வாழ்த்து (Tamilthai vaazthu) followed by lighting of the Kuthuvilakku.

This was followed by a warm welcome address by our esteemed Principal, Dr. Sendilvelan. He welcomed and honoured the Chief Guest, Mr. K.N. Visweswaran, Chief Mentor, Hexavarsity, Hexaware Tehcnologies. The Principal also welcomed the esteemed guests, Dr. S. Venkataraman, Vice President – HR, Delphi-TVS and Mrs. Lakshmi Balaji, Manager – HR, Cognizant Technologies.

This was followed by enthusing and inspiring speeches by the three Chief Guests. The rules and regulations of the college were explained to the new students by our Principal. This was followed by an introduction of all the Heads of Department of the college.

The function came to an end with a vote of thanks from Dr. Nanjundan, Ph.D and the singing of the national anthem.
