One day Seminar on "Software on wheels -Neural Networks”.

Preamble:

A One day Seminar on Neural Networks has been conducted on 28th August 2018, at PERI INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, West Tambaram, Chennai-48.

Participant’s Profile:

A total Number of 72 students from III Year ECE (Electronics and communication Engineering),PERI INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, West Tambaram, Chennai-48.

Description about the Program:

On the inaugural function, Mr.K.Vignesh, CEO- Insertion Systems, Chennai participated as Chief Guest. In his Chief guest address, he emphasized to create and promote a Deep Learning Society for engineers and technologists and to accelerate the process of acquiring and deploying the art, science of Deep Learning.

Spoke on the topic:

Understanding the nuts and bolts of Neural Network, Work with a production ready Deep Learning Framework, Create your own Neural Network Architecture.

Understand and build the nodes of a Neural Network Architecture, Create your first classification model and visualize it.

Work with state of art models fromVGG-Net to SqueezeNet,Train a state of art localization model on Cloud play with the results.

Students Outcomes of the Program

• Hands-on experience with an AI architecture that powers the self-driving cars.
• Designing your own nuances of a Deep Neural Network.
• A handfull of private libraries, notebooks and datasets to work with.

The entire programme was co-ordinated with the support of the Principal, faculty of the department of Electronics and communication Engineering),PERI INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, West Tambaram, Chennai-48.

Feedback:

The section was very informative and interesting. This section gives motivation for students. Thank you very much for arranging such a kind of Seminar. We need a workshop on this neural network topic.

The department of Electronics and communication Engineering looking forward to organize future Work Shop on "Neural Networks”.
