The PERI College of Pharmacy held its 2nd Induction Day on the 5th of December, 2022 at Beta block, Conference Hall, PERI Knowledge Park. It was organized by Dr. P.Valentina, Principal, PERI College of Pharmacy and co-ordinated by Mrs.W.Anitha, Associate Professor, Peri College of Pharmacy. To enhance the glory of the event we had amongst us Dr. Palson Kennedy, Principal, PERI Institute of Technology as the Chief Guest of the Day. The auspicious occasion was initiated with Tamil Thai Vaazhtu at around 10.00 a.m. To illuminate the day, the dignitaries lighted the lamp along with one II year student and one Ist year new student.

The induction day was celebrated to greet the first-year students who will be embarking on a new journey of education, growth and innovation. Dr. Sonja Jose, Associate Professor, presented the welcome address before all. She warmly greeted all the dignitaries, invitees, parents, faculty and students and expressed her sincere gratitude to all the parents and students for believing in PERI EDUCATION and selecting PERI College of Pharmacy as their destination for pursuing quality education.

The Inaugural address was spoken by Dr. P. Valentina, having erudite visionary, she spoke about her rich experience in the field of academics and scope of pharmacy. Her words motivated the students towards achieving their goals with innovation and enthusiasm. She also spoke about the developments initiated by the management which also gave the students an insight into humanitarian grounds of life. Dr. Palson Kennedy, Chief guest of Induction day enlightened the audience with his galore of knowledge and experience. He spoke about thinking in multiple angles and being the best in every work to be delivered. He spoke about the role played by education in the path of excellence and his speech energized the students with much positivity for their upcoming academic journey.Students gained valuable inputs and learned a lot about working with efficiency.

Vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs.W.Anitha, Associate Professor, Peri College of Pharmacy at 12.00 p.m. She expressed her immense gratitude to the Chief guest for contributing his valuable time, in spite of his busy schedule.She heartily thanked all the parents for their presence and encouraged the newly joined students. She further thanked the management, faculties, administration team Mrs.Bhuvaneshwari and Mrs.Maya and II year students who have contributed towards making this programme a grand success.

The curtains were drawn for the day with the National Anthem.
