Temple Clean-up Day

Chennai, March 18 - National Service scheme (NSS) of PERI Institute of Technology (PERI IT) organized the Temple Clean-Up Day at at Manneswarar Temple, Mannivakkam, Chennai. The event started at 9.00AM in the presence of Principal Dr.R. Palson Kennedy, Head of the departments, faculties and volunteers. NSS Officer Dr. P.K Chidambaram, Associate Professor, Mechanical Engineering Department, presented his welcome address and welcomed the gathering

The Temple Clean-Up Camp was inaugurated and started by our Principal Dr.R.Palson Kennedy, 9.00AM. Vice principal and all the Heads of departments also participated in the camp.

Over 50 NSS Volunteers participated in this camp and cleaned up the temple premises. The team comprises of 5 staff coordinators who were also actively participated in the clean-up work.

Entire temple premises was cleaned and whole camp’s active work was appreciated by the temple authorities. The cleanliness camp was over by 1.00 PM
