INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON INFORMATICS, ROBOTICS, CONSTRUCTION AND COMMUNICATION ICIRCC’20

Two days international conference on Informatics, Robotics, Construction and Communication (ICIRCC’20) Conducted in PERI Institute of Technology on 7th & 8th February 2020.

Mr. Saravanan Periyasamy, Chairman PERI EDUCATION personally conveyed his best wishes to the students, organizers & the Chief Guest Dr. T.V.Gopal for the successful conduction of the conference.

Dr. R. Palson Kennedy, Principal PERI IT gave a warm welcome and briefed about ICIRCC ’20. He extended his hearty welcome to the luminaries on the dais, Chairman, coo, session chair persons of various departments, HODs, faculties, participants and student invitees for this function. He insisted the young participants to concentrate on research and publications with their innovative and creative ideas. He also pointed out seven latest Technologies that is emerging in 2020 and asked students to learn as if you were to live forever. And extended his warm welcome to the all the press people & invitees of the conference.

HOD ECE introduced the Chief Guest. Honourable Chief Guest Dr T.V.Gopal, Prof CSE, Anna university ,Guindy campus has delivered the key note address on 7th February 2020.

During his inaugural address he pointed out that the primary goal of the conference is to promote research and development activities in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, Information, Communication and Mechanical Engineering and to promote scientific information interchange between researchers

“Scientists discover the world that exists; engineers create the world that never was.” - Theodore von Karman, co-founder of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory Seeing THIINGS, YES but with the preparation of an Engineer: There is no single right way to implement the engineering design process.

Engineering requires that much time and skill is spent ensuring the delivery of products, projects or services to a required performance and quality specification, on time and within budget. A great deal of the education and training of the engineer is devoted to ensuring his or her ability to effect such a delivery. Because of this practical focus the importance of the early decision making processes is frequently not appreciated.

To my mind Engineering Design is the fulcrum for Informatics, Robotics, Construction & Communication – The theme of this conference . He invited the participants to share their views and ideas in Field of Engineering. His thoughtful speech provoked the young minds to invent new ideas and technologies.

• Dr. M. Sivabalakrishnanna, Professor, Vellore Institute of Technology has acted as session chair of CSE Department.
• Dr. P. Muneeswari , Associate Professor, PSNA College of Technology has acted as session chair of ECE Department.
• Dr. C. Subramani, Professor, SRM Institute of Science & Technology has acted as session chair of EEE Department.
• Dr. Muthukrishnan, Professor, GKM College of Engineering has acted as session chair of Mechanical Department.

The ICIRCC ’20 Conference Proceedings was released by Chief Guest Dr. T.V.Gopal, Principal Dr. R. Palson Kennedy, Professor, vice Principal B. Magesh,Mrs.Abisha, Asso Professor-ECE Mrs.Varalakshmi,- Asso Professor-CSE, Mrs.Sridevi , Asso Professor-EEE, Mr.Anil kumar Assot.prof-Mech .

CSE HOD given a brief report about the conference. We received around 175 papers from various institutions. After various stages of Scrutinization, 75 papers were selected to be presented in ICIRCC 2020.

Huge no of keynote presenters, attendees have been benefited through this conference. Institutions like, vallaiammai, GKM, Jeppiyar Engg College SRM institute of Science & Technology, Sairam Institute of Technology,& MIT etc, participated in this conference. We received papers from other states like Telugana Andra, Karnataka and Kerala and also from other countries like Thailand & Singapore .

Few best papers from each department will be selected and published in the International Journal of Electrical, and Electronics and Computer Science Engineering (IJEECSE), International Journal of Civil, Mechanical and Production Engineering (ICJCMPE).

Dr. Naruehorn Sangachandra, DEAN-Faculty of Information & communication Technology, Silapkorn University, Bankok, Thailand. was invited as the chief guest for Valedictory Function on 8th February (in absentia). The purpose of this conference ICIRCC20 was fulfilled and resulted in strong participation of students making it a grand success for PERIIT. Mr.B. Magesh vice principal gave the vote of thanks & Conference was concluded with National anthem.
