The Department of Psychology had organized a lecture series on 10th& 11th, June 2021. Mrs. Lalitha Chandrasekhar, Counselling Psychologist and Ms. S. Muthulakshmi, Counselling Psychologist & Assistant Professor, Department of Psychology from Apollo Arts and Science College was invited as our guest speaker to deliver a lecture on “Understanding learning disability” and “How to Handle Sexual Harassment” respectively.

For this lecture series, the invite and the registration link using the Google Meet was circulated among students and faculties of Peri College of Arts and Science.

A total of 100 participants (Students and Faculties of PERI College of Arts and Science) attended this webinar.

The Program started with a welcome address given by Dr. P. Nirmala, Head, Department of Science, Peri College of Arts and Science. A special and warm welcome was conveyed to the chief guest. Introduction of the Guest speaker was also given by Mrs. J. Aruna, Assistant Professor, Department of Psychology, Peri College of Arts and Science.

Students of Peri College of Arts and Science had actively listened and interacted with the speakers and also came up with the brainstorming solutions to the problems posted by the expert.

The webinar was concluded with vote of thanks by Ms. S. Abirami, B.Sc Psychology, Department of Psychology, Peri College of Arts and Science. Heartfelt thanks extended to the Chairman, Mr. Saravanan Periyasamy and COO, Mr. Sasi Veerarajan, and the Principal, Dr. A. Gunasekaran, Vice Principal, Dr. V. Simson Rajkumar and Head of the Department, Dr. P. Nirmala. Special thanks conveyed to the guest of honor, who accepted to deliver the lecture and graced the event.
