A webinar on “ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHING” was organized by PERI EDUCATION on 08.04.2021. It was organised exclusively for all the students and faculty members of PERI EDUCATION.Dr.Samuel Rufus was the resource person of the day. The webinar was conducted through Google Meet App, an online platform.

PERI EDUCATION organised the webinar to expose the students to know the effective strategies for enhancing the communicative, competitive and performance in Language Learning. A total of 200 students of PERI EDUCATION registered and 100 participants have joined the webinar.

The chief guest of the day Dr.Samuel Rufus conveyed his wishes and prayers for the successful functioning of the department. He motivated the participants with his personal experience and encouraged them to improve their personality by learning life skills taught through language.

Ensuing the welcome address by Kiruthiga from IICS,the chief guest presented his lecture on language competence and performance mesmerized the participants with his vast knowledge. It was appreciated and enjoyed by all who made their presence. Finally there was a Question & answer session.

Feedback form was collected from the participants using Surveyheart feedback forms. Around 80 feedback forms were submitted from which it was observed that the students found the webinar more effective and informative. And,it was requested by the students to conduct more programs like this

The session ended at 3.30 PM with a formal vote of thanks by expressing gratitude to the resource person Dr. Samuel Rufus, the management and the participants. At the outset, the programme fulfilled the purpose of what it was intended.
