REPORT OF PERI MATH πRATES - MATHEMATICS CLUB INAGURATION

PERI College of arts and science invited Dr.K.Kaliraj, Assistant Professor, Dept. Of Mathematics, University of Madras, Chennai to inaugurate PERI MATH πRATES – 2019 -2020 Mathematics club inauguration on 19th December 2019. The Inauguration ceremony was started with the invocation with Tamil Thai vaazthu and lighting of Kuthuvillaku by our Hon. Chief Guest followed with our Principal, staff Ms.B .Sai lakshmi and our student representatives.

The Inauguration event was compered by G.J.Vino of B.sc (CS). Ms.B .Sai lakshmi, Assistant professor of Mathematics welcomed the gathering and also introduced the Student representatives. The Principal, Dr.A.Gunasekaran delivered his presidential address and felicitated the guest with a memento. Mr. K.Hariharan as President, Mr. R.Ragul as Vice President, Mr. P.Abilash as Secretary and Ms. R.Sujitha as Joint Secretary.

Then Mr. K.Hariharan, President of PERI MATH πRATES introduced our chief guest. Following this, the chief guest took over the session. His talk on differential equations and its various applications in the field of statistics, Physics, Rocket engineering and in some subfield of mathematics.

Mr. R.Ragul,Vice President of PERI MATH πRATES render his vote of thanks with explanation of association name . The session was ended with the National Anthem.
